The WDCR held it’s first championship points event of the year on Sunday April 18th at Fed Ex Field. A full house of approximately 250 driver competed, temperatures were cool, and a stiff breeze further chilled the air of an otherwise sunny April sunday.
The competition was dramatic. The first few drivers found out quickly that the new sealer on portions of the lot made it seem more like January with Black Ice to drive on. Later on in the day the course improved, however the sealer will ultimately cover the entire lot. While it’s the same for everyone, this will make car setup from past years less reliable for this season.
